This position calls for both marketing strategy and execution skills. Frontline Systems has customers across many industries and around the world, using our highly-regarded software products for decision analytics -- optimization, simulation / risk analysis, data mining and machine learning. You'll be marketing these products to more than 10,000 existing and past corporate customers plus new prospects, starting with a website that receives 100,000 visits monthly.

Help refine our understanding of these customers, organizational roles, and needs, and update our fundamental messaging to reflect the significant growth in our products and services. Then execute digital marketing programs aimed at both new prospects and existing customers, from top-of-funnel awareness to pre-sale support, trial use and onboarding, and customer success. You'll learn from our salespeople, conduct customer surveys and interviews, and use tools to measure engagement and conversion. Then you'll work to improve our social media (especially LinkedIn) presence, website and email marketing copy, SEO, PPC ad copy, landing pages, sales enablement materials and more.

Skills Required or Preferred

You must have excellent English communication skills; this is so important that you’ll need to give us writing samples to be considered. While you don't have to be a math whiz, you must be willing to learn what optimization, simulation / risk analysis, data mining and machine learning are all about, and how our customers use them to improve their company's performance. You must be good at prioritizing work, completing projects, and maintaining a marketing calendar and tempo.

You should have at least three years full-time experience in a company or agency creating and executing marketing programs, including writing and testing web and email copy. Ideally you have significant experience with social media, SEO and PPC marketing with a track record of improving traffic and conversion. You should also have experience with email marketing and testing response, ideally using a system like Eloqua, Marketo, or Infusionsoft.

This position will involve selecting and working with outside agencies -- but your skills must enable you to create social media, website and email copy yourself without relying on an agency. You should have good skills in HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, tools for creating/editing images and videos, Google Analytics, Google Ads, tools for evaluating web visitor behavior, and A/B testing alternative web pages. Experience with LinkedIn marketing tools, Drupal or WordPress is a plus. You also must be very familiar with the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.

You should be a self-starter, able to work independently without a ton of supervision, meet goals and deadlines, and get things done. If you want to work with us, you must have a passion for marketing, testing and improvement, and understanding our customers.
